CHANGE OF DATES Next Annual Meeting and General Assembly :

will take place in Gent, on Friday 19 March 2004.
We apologize for this inconvenience but we were only recently informed that the auditiorium is not available on 06/02 because of examinations for students.
More details on the theme of the meeting and invited speakers will follow soon.

However, we want to inform you already that a session of selected communications from young scientists will be included in the programme.

Also note that next year 4 board members will finish their term and must be replaced: have you thought of applying to become a board member? The BeSHG needs YOU !

Workgroup reports

The BeSHG’s Guidelines for Predictive Genetic Testing for Late Onset Disorders as proposed by the workgroup (Pres : G. Evers-Kiebooms) have been reviewed to include remarks and comments by BeSHG members, and finalized. They will soon appear on the website (www.BeSHG.be).

Interesting event

On 5 and 6 December 2003 a symposium entitled "PGD in 2003: a genetic odyssey" will take place in VUB. See link on www.BeSHG.be website for tentative program.
